In early April 2022 our new Defibrillator was installed at the Red Lion pub in Kegworth! Thank you to NJR Electrical Services who provided a great service and installed our new defibrillator free-of-charge! What great community spirit!
The idea behind the fundraising was to have a Christmas Raffle. Tickets were £1 each and there were many great prizes on offer. Tickets were for sale behind the bar at the pub. It was a Christmas fundraising effort and was well received.
We also want to say a big thank you to all our customers who participated in our fundraising to get one installed at the Red!
We made a great effort with fundraising for the de-fib, here’s an update for prizes won from our raffle tickets from the end of December 2021 (Christmas Raffle): We raised £1,231!

There were also 24 Terry’s Chocolates Oranges to be won which were collected as customers came into the pub (tickets were £1 each – Also from The Star West Leake).
The lifesaving automated public defibrillator went live straight away after waiting upon formal registration with the emergency services. We hope it has a sustained future. This serves the Kegworth High Street and surrounding area.
